The Airone 1000DS is the ideal ducted schools fume cupboard for classroom demonstrations.  Laminated glass panels to the sides and back provide the all-round visibility of the experiment needed for effective teaching, while flexible duct and lockable castors enable it be manoeuvred into place and unobtrusively stored.

The flexible duct connects to PVC ducting in which a fan is installed to carry airborne contaminants safely away to an external discharge point.  We provide a full turn-key solution, installing an energy efficient fan and duct system if required.

The rate of air inflow into the fume cupboard needed for safe operation in schools is set by our engineer during commissioning. An integrated air by-pass system ensures this inward air flow remains constant as the laminated glass sash is raised or lowered, and the unit incorporates a low air flow alarm for complete safety. Connection of services is simple via the Safelab Docking Station.

If there is no requirement to move the fume cupboard from its demonstration position, we can supply and install the Airone 1000DS with feet and rigid PVC duct.
